Rhytm paradise

Rhytm Paradise

Crazy game, that is full of rhytm and funny action, is attacking your ears and will get your body moving around. Your task is to beat and drum with the touch-pen on the screen of your game console and you have to beat in the right rhytm to launch the right melody in the game. The more precise you hit the tone, the better will be the next action on the screen and the higher ranking you'll get.

Funny game action is connected with the same funny crazy characters, graphic and colors. While the player is learning the sense for a rhytm and doing one level after another, he must get in touch with the dancing monkeys, wildly behaving karate fighters and singing lizards. Each new challenge does begin with a training introduction, then you are scored from this training lesson and you see how good you are on the Best Ladder. If you show small sense of rhytm, you can play new songs or bonus mini-games. And if you are getting better and better, you can release the songs from the game and listen to them next time, where and when you will want. All the songs are composed by the known japanese producent "Tsunku".

Rhytm Paradise does offer more than 50 musical mini-games and rhytm-games - some are fast and easy, others are more complex and more complicated. In the challenge of "Neverending games" you can measure your music proficiency, the rhytm is still more faster. The music fans can also attend the virtual musical guitar lessons or you can become DJ with the selected musical discography.

Through the menu on the touch screen is easily possible to choose each new song and new game. And because it's possible to save three different data sentences on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi, you can share the fun with your friends or family.

Comment: £22.99 in morrisons, absolute bargain! Easily my favourite rhythm game, alongside the GBA version.

Comment: It's just as whacky as the GBA one but something is missing. I do enjoy the game a lot (bought it a while ago) but in the end I like the first one better.

Comment: Agree; the first game on GBA is an absolute classic and still the best of the series. DS game is good as well however.

Comment: I love this game! 9/10 for me.

Comment: The first Rhythm Tengoku game for GBA is much better IMO.

Comment: This game is tempting me. Beyonce is tempting me.

Comment: 8's a little stingy. It's fractionally less good than the GBA one, but the Japanese version got 8/10 and it's very significantly more fun in English where you can work out what you're supposed to be doing in some of the trickier games and therefore unlock more stuff, so well worth an extra 1.

Comment: Mind you, I'd probably give it 8/10 if it was just the "frog backing dancers" game.
Name: EarlBassettDate: 2010-05-02 08:25:26
Comment: I like it better in Japanese!

Comment: Anyone who likes the first one better is an infidel and must be shot for the sake of humanity. :D

Comment: The japanese version is better. Atleast if you know the language.

Comment: >8's a little stingy. So is not actually paying for it.
Name: TravisTouchdownDate: 2010-05-02 08:26:57
Comment: I find it strangely difficult. No rhythm? Possibly. But I do have some moves, which leads me to suspect there's something not right here.
Name: seasidebazDate: 2010-05-02 08:27:13
Comment: @smelly: YEAH!! *dance* @jtn: The first one was still awesome, though :)
Name: KrelleDate: 2010-05-02 08:27:37
Comment: TravisTouchdown I also find both games very difficult. This one more so than the first. And Rhythm games are usually my one and only strong point when it comes to games. Its more about "getting" the song, or finding some sounds in the melody to look/listen for, than rhythm.

Comment: "The japanese version is better. Atleast if you know the language" How so?

Comment: Crop Stomp and the Table tennis games are rock hard - agree with Simon that it is better to not look at the screen. Still lost a load of my Bank Holiday weekend to this though (The kids grabbed it on Sunday, alas) and annoyed fellow commuters with the tapping all the way to work this morning. Well worth the 20ish quid.

Comment: I never played the original but me and my girlfriend are really enjoying this game at the moment. 9/10 so far for me.
Name: jonsaanDate: 2010-05-02 08:28:35
Comment: So the gba one was a bit better.? Much like Wario Ware then?
Name: nateproDate: 2010-05-02 08:28:54
Comment: Haha, I love the hip-hop dance music part, Am seeing this at websites like HipHopPow (check the link), and Sesame Street isn't ruff gangsta after all. Back at the old skool 80's - rappers was a rock stars, these days? I dunno...
