Review of the Pokemon game - Ruby and Sapphire

What? We have review here, but not what have you been used to, from pokemon films, but this time we have taken to our gunsight Pokemon game. I hope, you'll enjoy it, it's partially somehow a little sum up of this game.

What is happening here
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are the first Pokemon games for Game boy Advance. There's a lot of improvements to the contrary of last versions. And I even suggest you to play it. It has nice graphic - simply the Nintendo did care about this version (and this is good, or not?). .

Teams
In this game are already not Rocketers (these gave it up ages ago :o)), but now here are two new teams, team Aqua and team Magma. In the Sapphire you are with the team Magma against the team Aqua and vice versa. So don't think, if there are no Rocketers that nobody could make it harder for you (just the opposite, these two teams are better).

Pokemons
In the game Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are pokemons from the 1st 2nd 3th editions. From 1st and 2nd editions are in this game few, but from the 3th are there all. Valuable pokemons: Rayquaza, Kyogre, Groudon, Latias, Latios (depends on the version). Sapphire: Kyogre, Latias. Ruby: Groudon, Latis. Starting pokemons: Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip.

Pluses / Minuses
The game has many positives, but also negatives and that's why I will introduce you some of them.

Positives
1. Nintendo have devised new fights 2 on 2. Simply you'll come to two trainers (they stand next to each other), but you need to have at least two pokemons, that it could actually be 2 vs 2. Also here Nintendo did a big job on the graphic. They said finaly to themselfs, that it wasn't ok and you have to admit that in this game they manage it very well.
2. The next news is, that you can create your own Secret Base. This is such a house in the tree or in the rock. You can buy PokeDoll (that are Pokemon dolls) and PokeMat (that are mats, that represent some attack) and you can give it all to your Secret Base, to have it more cosy there. Ofcourse you can buy also other things to Secret Base, but I won't labour still about this. (Definitely not in this article)
3. One of the news are also Contests (contests of beauty), you will simply pick one of your pokemons, give him few pokeblocks and you are ready for it.
4. But from Berry there are no Contests and that's why there's possibility to grow Berry. All you need is patch (that could be found for example in Mauville City). It's very simple, you will come to the patch, give "A" and will pick Berry, you want to plant. Then you'll flood it only and that's it.
5. And the last but one of the news (the ones that I describe) are 2 types of rounds: Mach Bike and Acro Bike. Mach Bike: it's more faster than Acro Bike and moreover it's faster than the rounds from previous versions. It will come in useful for example when you will ride for Rayquaza in Sky Pillar. Acro Bike: with this bike you can jump (up, down, left, right and on the one place also), this bike is probably as fast as in the all so far published versions, just right, it can jump (that's why it's called Acro Bike), this bike will come useful for example in the Saffari zone.
6. The last news (from these that I describe here) is changing of the weather. This can influence the successfulness of your attacks, for example in the zone where rains - rain is strengthening the water attacks and at the same time weaken the fire ones, and that's why you use it and in such a zone choose water pokemon for an attack.

Negatives

1. In this game you can't unfortunatelly get to the world Kanto nor Johto.
2. Morevoer there's no Wireless adapter to this game.
3. If you have noticed there's even made fishing more difficult, in the older versions you just came to water, pull out fishing rod and there were two possibilities: a) you catch the fish or rather pokemon, b) you catch nothing. But now Nintendo made it harder. So when you pull out the rod and are fishing (are waiting when somebody will catch on the rod and you just pull) you have to press "A" in the right time and if you are not, the fish will swim away.
4. More there is no changing of day and night, as it was in the Crystal game.
5. And more, there's a little of precious pokemons (at least for me).

Common and different characteristics of games Ruby and Sapphire
These two games are in somewhat similar to games Red / Blue, Silver / Gold. And that is, that every game is similar but in something are different. And that's why we will describe it here.

Common features:
These two games have a lot common: story, characters, trainer and pokemons, but not all pokemons, thus all but not the precious.

Different features
Ruby:
1. You have joined together with team Aqua and you fight against team Magma
2. The main difference is in the precious pokemons, you can catch here rare Pokemon Groudon and Latiose (boy).
Sapphire:
1. You have joined the team Magma and fight against team Aqua.
2. The main difference is in the scarce Pokemon, you can catch here rare Kyogr and Latias (girl).

Rating
For me the game is short, few of rare pokemons and I would also welcome the possibility to do something more after the league (for example to become the champion myself and to wait for the next trainer), or also to connect it with Link cable and play this whole game in two players.
